So I thought I should update this with something Disney related...
A friend of mine is on his way to Florida tomorrow and it makes me super excited for August to come! There is so much left to do before hand so here is a list of things that I have to do:

*Save as much money as possible!
*Get police check
*Get my Visa
*Pay assessment fee
*Book flights
*Organise my NYC trip
*Get insurance
*Move ALL of my stuff home (going to be a mission to get it all to NZ!!)
*Book flights home
*That is all I can think of right now so will update later!!

Below is a description of the responsibilities involved with a/an Quick-Service Food & Beverage/Operations role:

High volume and Guest contact are key parts of this role. Cast Members in Quick-Service Food and Beverage will work independently or as part of a large team in either indoor or outdoor locations. Responsibilities may include: taking orders, operating a point-of sale system (cash register), cash handling, filling food and beverage orders, dispensing and selling of alcohol, heavy lifting, pushing and pulling, emptying waste cans, general cleaning with chemicals and food preparation. Your pay rate for this role will be $7.65.

Operations Cast Members will be working in one of our theme parks, water parks or the Downtown Disney® area. Operations Cast Members will be placed in one of the following areas: Attractions: working at any one of the “rides”, theater shows or Disney's FASTPASS® locations; or Main Entrance Operations: greeting all Guests who enter the park and validating their tickets. Responsibilities may include: loading and unloading Guests, operating sophisticated ride systems, memorizing and delivering lengthy narrations to large groups, operating turnstile areas, obtaining knowledge of WALT DISNEY WORLD® ticket media, retrieving and arranging strollers, light cleaning and assisting with audience control. Your pay rate for this role will be $7.31.

The position requires your commitment beginning 8/4/2012 (mm/dd/yy) through 8/2/2013 (mm/dd/yy). Your arrival date in the United States for check in would be 8/4/2012 (mm/dd/yy).
